The Board of Directors is made up of caring, concerned adults from the community. Our board provides direction, oversight, and vision for the Executive Director. The team meets monthly for prayer, ministry updates, and strategic planning.

    Community Involvement: President, The Insurance Mart Jackson, MS since 1986, An Independent Property and Casualty Insurance Agency licensed throughout the Southeast. Also, President of Mississippi Insurance Alliance, a network of Independent Insurance agencies.

    Spouse and Family:  Married to Sheila and they have two daughters Callie and Olivia, and one son Wesley

    Lacie and her husband, John, have two children, Matthew and Sandy. In her spare time, Lacie enjoys volunteering with City Church Jackson, cooking, and spending time with family.

  • Eric Pratt

    Education: Eric is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and earned his Master of Divinity and Ph.D. degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and engaged in additional study at Loyola University. 
    Community Involvement:  As a researcher, writer, teacher, pastor, and conference speaker he often is asked to address issues regarding leadership, ethical decision making, spiritual formation, ministry, missions, and making sense out of the cultural and generational changes taking place in society. As a consultant Dr. Pratt works with companies, individuals, and churches to utilize current trends and research to provide insights for growth and adaptation. He currently oversees Campus Ministries, Community Service Center, International Chapel, and Directs the Clinton Extension Center for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 

    Eric has served on the following boards: Jackson Youth for Christ, Urban Young Life Jackson, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, TEAM 413, former President of the Association of Ministry Guidance Professionals, Retention Committee for the Clinton Board of Education, Planning Committee for the Mission Mississippi Governor’s Leadership Prayer Luncheon, Mississippi Marriage Covenant Steering Committee, Transformation Jackson, Habitat for Humanity, Association of Christians in Student Development, and a 2011 Graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy.

    Church Affiliation/Church Leadership: Eric and his family attend FBC Clinton where Eric was Chair of the Deacons, taught RAs, and now leads an Adult Bible Study class

    Spouse and Family:  He has been married to Penny for over 23 years and they have three children: Grace (Junior at MC), Paul (Freshman at MC), and Chip (10th grade). 

  • Tara Hayes

    Education: A graduate of Mississippi College, Tara earned a degree in business administration, and continued her education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary studying Christian Education.
    Community Involvement:  As Executive Director of Talent and Leadership Development with Chick-fil-A, Tara Hayes has a passion for developing leaders. During her 28-year career with the company, she also served as director of marketing for the Jackson area.
    With a strong belief in giving back to her community, Tara has spent time on the board of directors for the Chamber of Flowood, Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, and is an alumnus of Leadership Rankin. She has volunteered with Youth for Christ since 1997, and has served on the board of directors for the southern region of YFC. 
    Church Affiliation/Church Leadership: Tara and her husband, Keys Hayes, are on the invitation team at Pinelake where they have been active members for over 12 years.
    Spouse and Family:  Tara and her husband, Keys Hayes, have been married for 27 years and are intentional about giving back to their community and passing on Biblical values to their two children and four grandchildren.

  • Eric Zoog


    Dr. Eric J. Zoog MD is a male emergency physician in Jackson, MS. Dr. Zoog is affiliated with Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He is licensed to practice by the state board in Mississippi (16418).

    Specialty: Emergency Physician

    Emergency medicine is the area of medicine that focuses on urgent treatment for people with serious injuries and ailments. Emergency medical doctors work in emergency departments and trauma centers at hospitals, and they are trained to handle medical crises and make fast diagnoses to help save lives. They treat a wide range of emergency medical problems including heart attacks, strokes, trauma wounds, and broken bones.

  • Gretchen Gentry


    Gretchen graduated cum laude from University of Mississippi School of Liberal Arts. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1997. While in law school she was a Member of the Mississippi Law Journal, a member of Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity, and was awarded the Edith Waits Turley Memorial Scholarship.


    Gretchen practices law at Randall, Segrest, Weeks & Reeves, PLLC in Ridgeland, Mississippi where she focuses her practice primarily on real estate closings. She holds an AV Preeminent peer rating for the highest level of professional excellence from Martindale-Hubbell. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Jackson Youth for Christ, Gretchen has in the past served on the board of directors for several other community-based organizations such as the Junior League of Jackson, Operation Shoestring and Mississippi Children’s Museum Partner’s Board. She is active in Madison County Public Schools and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson’s Class of 2012-13, where she served as a small group chair.

    Gretchen is the daughter of Susan and Tommy Luke. She grew up in Gulfport where she graduated with honors from Gulfport High School. She is married to Curtis A. Gentry IV and they have two children, Emma and Cade. The Gentry’s attend the Madison campus of Pinelake Church.
